USATF Convention set for
September 29th in Bozeman
The
Annual Convention of the Montana Association
of USATF has been set for Sept. 29th,
Sunday at the Lindley Park Center (old
UCT building) located at 1102 East Curtiss
in Bozeman. (From East Main Street, turn
on to Cypress Ave near Lindley Park, then
two blocks south, turn left onto Curtiss).
Committee meetings will be set for 10:00
a.m., with the general session beginning
at 1:00 p.m.
All members of USATF Montana are invited
to attend this opportunity to recognize
annual award winners, as well as help
to shape the Association for the upcoming
year.
USATF Montana is made up of nearly 700
athletes, coaches and officials from state
of Montana, with a purpose is to host
and promote the sports of track and field,
long distance running and race walking
within the state of Montana.
The direction of the Association is pointed
by a board of directors made up of officers
and committee chairpersons, who are elected
and appointed at the general meeting of
the Association. If you would like to
have an active voice in the Association,
then attend the state convention, as it's
an opportunity for membership to participate
through voting and discussion. It is also
a great opportunity to join one of the
several committees that make up USATF
Montana.
Feel free to accept this invitation to
join us in Bozeman for the Annual Convention
of Montana USATF, so that we can make
this coming year, even better than the
last. (Bill Brist - Association President)
